For the first time, High Point's semiannual Premarket event had a heavy representation of home decor resources. Vendors that specialize in area rugs, wall art, decorative accessories, soft goods and more were on hand for the Sept. 14-15 show to get in front of customers and prepare for October's market.
Consumers Seek Made in America
HIGH POINT — Preston Matthews, of Knoxville, Tenn.-based Brown Squirrel Furniture closed up his showroom in compliance with local and state COVID-19 regulations for seven weeks in mid-March. When he reopened his showroom on May 1, he said customers returned with a totally renewed interest in finding U.S.-made products.
